The Pigskin Pass is a 58-mile relay run between Towson University and the University of Delaware where student-athletes from each school carry a special game ball to be delivered right before kick-off of the football game between the two schools. Along with heightening attention to the football rivalry between Towson and Delaware, participating Pigskin Pass runners are also raising awareness and financial support for Special Olympics, with all proceeds from the run going to Special Olympics Delaware and Special Olympics Maryland.
